RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced job opportunities for non -technical categories (NTPC) on its official website. The objective of this recruitment campaign is to fill about 1,00,000 posts in various sections of Indian Railways. The RRB will select the appropriate candidates through examinations. This recruitment process is an attempt to increase the capacity of Indian Railways, including several posts such as junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist, junior time keeper, train clerk, and others. Interested applicants should review the eligibility criteria and apply online through the official website of RRB. The application portal is expected to open soon.

Educational Qualification for RRB NTPC Recruitment

• Applicants should pass the 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination.
• Candidates should have a university degree or equivalent qualification so that they can apply.
• Those candidates should not apply who are waiting for the results of their final exam and do not meet the prescribed minimum educational qualification.

RRB NTPC Age Limit:-

• The age limit for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years.
• The age limit for Graduate posts is 18 to 33 years.
• The special age limit will be mentioned in the specific official notification for eligibility.

RRB NTPC Application fees

• General / OBC / EWS : 500/-
• SC / ST / EBC / ESM : 250/-
• All female category : 250/-
• Minorities / 3rd Gender : 250/-
• Payment mode : Online Mode
• Refund terms: General / OBC: Rs. 400/- will be refunded and other candidates: Rs. 250/- will be refunded to the bank account after appearing in the stage I exam.

Selection of RRB NTPC Recruitment

• The NTPC selection process consists of several stages for each post.
• Generally, it consists of two stages of a computer-based test (CBT), then other role-specific tests, and finally the document verification and medical examination.
• Candidates have to pass two stages and typing skill tests for posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk Clerk Clerk, Senior Clerk, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper.
• Selection for posts like Train Clerk, Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk and Commercial Apprentice consists of the first two phases of CBT. This is followed by a document verification of selected candidates and then medical examination.

How to apply online for RRB NTPC Recruitment?

• Indian Railways official website Go to
• Click on the direct link given there and select the zone for which you want to apply.
• Click on ‘New Registration’ and fill your details, then choose your zone from the drop-down menu.
• Check the posts available in your selected zone and click on the ‘Apply’ button.
• Fill all the necessary information in the RRB NTPC Application Form and click on ‘Continue’.
• Confirm your details on the next page and click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
• After confirming, you will receive an OTP on your registered email and phone number.
• Enter OTP and Captcha, then click on ‘Submit’.
• Log in using your registration details and pay the application fee.
• After payment, apply for your intended post and upload your photo, signature and required certifications.
• Finally, submit your application and take a printout for your record.
